The security of any email account that you set up under a cloud hosting account with us is guaranteed by the advanced SpamAssassin email filter that we employ. You can enable it via the Email Manager section of your Hepsia hosting Control Panel and it offers 5 levels of security based on the spam score it gives to every email message in accordance with various parameters, such as the frequency of specific words and phrases, the sender, and so on. If you keep getting spam, you can always increase the level or if you are afraid that you may miss a legitimate email, you can combine the automated filter with a custom one and redirect all emails from a specific sender to some other mailbox. In case you reach the decision that you no longer need anti-spam protection for a given mailbox, you can deactivate it with only several clicks of the mouse.
Spam Filters in Semi-dedicated Servers
If you use one of our semi-dedicated servers, you will not need to worry about junk email messages occupying your mailboxes every now and then, as you can take advantage of the famous SpamAssassin filter that we provide with every semi-dedicated account. Our custom-created Hepsia Control Panel will allow you to enable the filter for any mailbox with a few mouse clicks and you can select any of the 5 levels of security – from very low to very high. The level can be changed at any moment if, for instance, authentic emails get filtered, or if spam email messages go through and appear in your Inbox folder. To be on the safe side, you can choose all filtered messages to be re-sent to a special mailbox like spam@your-domain.com and not to be deleted. Thus, you can go through them from time to time to ensure that you have not omitted an authentic email.
